Kazi Zerin Tasnim won her second round match Friday in the Marcel Refrigerator 39th National Women’s Chess Competition, organized by Bangladesh Chess Federation, at the conference room of National Sports Council’s old building in Dhaka.
Zerin beat Tamanna Tasnim while in the other second round games, Afrin Jahan Munia defeated Tanzila Noor, Jhorna Begum beat Wafida Ahmed, Sabikur Nahar Tanima defeated Sima Khatun and Nusrat Jahan Liza beat Kamrun Nahar.
