National champion, Women’s International Master Rani Hamid (rating 1935) lost her first round games against 2564-rated Grandmaster Muzychuk Anna of the Ukraine in the World Chess Championship 2018 at Khanty-Mansiysk in Russia.
Rani failed to qualify for the second round for her twin losses in the first round against Anna in this knock-out system event.
