Bangladesh Country Games Association has just started its journey and their main focus is working with rural sports.
They were certified two months ago and the Association made their debut through a press conference Sunday.
Director of the BCGA, Shykh Siraj said, “We want to bring back traditional rural games in regular practice. We do not want to lose these traditional rural sports.”
Hadudu, dariayabandha, gollachut, bou-chi, shatchara, danguli and kanamachi bho bho will be played in team segment.
While events like moroglorai, bosta dour, tir dhonuk, bhela baich, sharer lorai and ekka-dokka will be played in individual segment.
The BCGA will arrange these events on the National Days of Bangladesh.
