Razib, Rakib draw in National A Chess Championship

The country's two Grandmasters, holder Enamul Hossain Razib and last year's runners-up side Mollah al Rakib played out a draw in the inaugural day of the 43rd National “A” Chess Championship at the chess federation hall-room of the old building of National Sports Council Tuesday.

International Master Minhaz Uddin drew with Fide Master Mehedi Hasan Parag while FM Aminul Islam drew with his teammate FM Nasir Ahmed. Featuring a total of 14 participants, the country's top tier chess event includes three GMs, two IMs and one Women’s IM.
