Badal Hossain of Savar has made a brilliant start at the 4th Paragon Professional Golf Tournament 2019 as he topped the leaderboard on the first day of the tournament being held at Kurmitola Golf Club.
The 29-year old Badal, who lives in Ashulia, ended with six-under-par-66 on the first day to lead the board while two Kurmitola Golf Club players - Md Sajib Ali and MD Nur Jamal were in the second and third position, respectively, scoring four-under-par-68 and three-under-par-69.
Badal was brilliant during the first part of round one as he scored birdies without conceding any bogey. He scored consecutive birdies in the seventh and eighth hole, putting the ball in just two shots in the later hole.
He conceded a bogey as he needed five shots in 15th hole but earned three more birdies in the second half to finish an impressive day.
