Bangladesh Football Federation condemned the act of demolition at Lt. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club by Dhaka South City Corporation yesterday.
Signed by vice president Badal Roy, the statement said Sheikh Jamal DC in the recent times has achieved notable successes in football that included the BPL title, the title of the Federation Cup and finishing runners-up in the IFA Shield Kolkata. The club field has been declared open to the public by the city corporation, but destroying parts of the club tent is not acceptable and harmful for football and BFF strongly condemns the act.
