Kester relishes revenge act

Update : 11 May 2014, 07:45 PM

Kester Akion, the Nigerian marksman of Brothers Union relished the revenge act against Uttar Baridhara at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday.

The Nigerian forward was excited with the outcome  of the match. “We worked hard for the last couple of days and was charged up to win this match. The 3-2 loss in the first phase was painful to us and we were really focused to win it. Everything went our way and we are happy to finish on a high,” said Kester who slammed a hat-rick and was relishing the moment of glory.

It is worth mentioning here that four of the five hat-tricks in the league have come against Uttar Baridhara and the promoted club is languishing at the bottom of the points table.

Meanwhile, Augustine Walson, another Haitian forward has started to find his feet in Dhaka’s football arena with his decent football skills, following the footsteps of his compatriots Sony Norde and Wedson of Sheikh Jamal, and Pascal Millien of Sheikh Russell. Both of his strikes were super yesterday and the forward was looking forward to earn a call from a big team next season. “I want to score more goals and my target is to attract the big teams’ attention. Sony Norde is my friend and I have played for the Haitian national team in 2012,” said Walson.
