Bangladesh national women's football team has been drawn in Group B alongside Korea Republic, DPR Korea and Myanmar for the 20th Asian Games, which will be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4.
The official draw for the women's football tournament was held on Thursday in Japan, with the 12 participating teams divided into three groups.
The matches will be played from September 14 to October 2. The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will qualify for the quarter-finals.
Bangladesh have previously competed only once in the Asian Games women's football tournament. At the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games in China, the women in red and green were eliminated in the group stage after registering one draw and two defeats in three matches.

Group A: Japan, Chinese Taipei, Vietnam, Thailand
Group B: Korea Republic, DPR Korea, Bangladesh, Myanmar
Group C: China, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong China
