Bangladesh will face hosts Uzbekistan in their opening Group H match of the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers at the Do'stlik Stadium Training Pitch 1 in Tashkent on Thursday.

The match will kick off at 5 pm Bangladesh time.

Ahead of the crucial opener, the Bangladesh team completed their fifth and final training session at the Uzbekistan football academy training centre (Pitch-3) on Wednesday, fine-tuning their preparations for the match.

The session focused on warm-ups, possession exercises and set-piece preparations, with the players maintaining good intensity and commitment throughout.

All players are in good health and adapting well to the local weather conditions in Tashkent.

Bangladesh head coach Saiful Bari Titu, in a video message, said the team were well prepared for their opening match against Uzbekistan.

"Definitely, getting five sessions before the first match is a good thing. We have tried our best to prepare the girls for the match. Especially, the first match is very important," he said after the team's training session.

The coach said the team's plan would be to remain calm and maintain their shape both in and out of possession, while set-pieces would also be an important part of the game.

"Overall, the girls are prepared to play the first match against Uzbekistan," he added.

Bangladesh will conclude Group H fixtures against Philippines at the same venue on Sunday.
