Bangladesh women's football team take on Singapore in the first tie of the two-match FIFA friendly series, scheduled to kick off at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the capital Friday.
The game kicks off at 4pm and T Sports YouTube channel will telecast it live.
The spectators will enjoy the match free of ticket.
Addressing the pre-match press conference, Bangladesh head coach Saiful Bari Titu and skipper Sabina Khatun expressed optimism of winning the series.
Titu said after the Asian Games, the Bangladesh team were supposed to visit Lebanon at the end of October to play two encounters.
The team had made good preparation for those two clashes, but unfortunately the girls could not play that series.
The team would have benefited if they had played the two matches in Lebanon.
Now Bangladesh Football Federation has organized the series against Singapore and football's governing body in the country deserves a big pat on the back.
Sabina, who was present at the press conference, said the two matches against Singapore is going to be a big challenge.
Remembering their 3-0 defeat in a friendly game against Singapore three years back, the Bangladesh skipper said they suffered a bitter experience in that match.
But she is very optimistic of winning the series against the same opposition this time at home.
Sabina said the current team are more balanced than before and improved in all technical, tactical and physical aspects.
She hoped that the football fans would come to the ground and watch two closely-fought games.
The Bangladesh team have been jolted as experienced player Krishna Rani Sarkar will not be able to take to the field due to injury.
The second and last match of the series will take place at the same venue Monday.
