Golam Rabbani Choton has officially quit the job as head coach of Bangladesh national women's team after sending resignation letter to the Bangladesh Football Federation Sunday night.
Choton, who had been the women's team tactician for around a decade and half, didn't visit the BFF House but sent the letter through email.
“I resigned from the post as head coach due to family reason. I'm tired physically and mentally,” Choton told Dhaka Tribune.
BFF's acting general secretary Imran Hossain Tushar also confirmed that they received the letter through email.
He said Choton mentioned personal reasons for his resignation.
The federation has not taken any action yet as an emergency meeting of its executive committee has been called Monday afternoon where the issue could be discussed.
