Elites FC emerged as the champion of the first ever Bangabandhu Walton Amateur Futsal Cup, edging Dhaka Tribune 2-1 in the penalty shootout in the final Friday at Shaheed Captain (retd.) M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in Dhaka.
The game ended 1-1 after normal time.
The tournament quarter-finals, semi-finals and grand finale were held Friday.
Elites Arif Ahammed was named the best goalkeeper, while his teammate Intishar Mostafa Chowdhury finished as the highest scorer.
FC Tikitaka received the Fair Play award.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Jahid Ahsan Russel distributed prizes as the chief guest.
