Babu was then cleaned up by Chittagong’s Mushfiq Babu in the fifth over as Khulna later lost the plot in the middle overs. Khulna managed to score 90 in 12 overs, which eventually proved to be short in the end. Niaz was the top-scorer for Khulna with 30 while Moballeg James took four wickets for 14 runs. Chittagong chased down the target with four balls to spare. Captain Azam Iqbal was not out on 19 and was adjudged man of the match. Murad Khan took two wickets for Khulna. In the first match of the day, Acme Rajshahi Masters defeated Expo All Stars Masters by 46 runs.

The match was reduced to 15 overs per side. Rajshahi batted first and scored 114 losing seven wickets in their 15 overs. Former national openers Javed Omar Belim and Hannan Sarkar opened the innings for Rajshahi. Both the openers crafted a brisk start as Rajshahi scored 30 within three overs. Rajshahi lost their first wicket in the fourth over and second in the sixth. Both the openers scored 18 off 15 balls. Mohammad Rana’s quick 21 off 14 balls helped Rajshahi go past 100. Chasing their target of 115, Expo were struggling to score freely against Rajshahi’s controlled bowling. At one stage, they scored only 12 in six overs losing three wickets. Rajshahi bowlers were on top from the very beginning and right until the end as Expo folded for just 69 in 14.1 overs.
