A century from Anamul Haque helped Prime Bank get a big win against Legends of Rupganj during their Dhaka Premier League 50-over match at BKSP on Thusrday.
It was initially an all-round bowling effort from Prime Bank that kept Rupganj to a below par total and helped them win by nine wickets with 18.3 overs to spare.
Rupganj lost the toss and had to bat first but struggled to form partnerships early on.
Opener Mohammad Naim scored 52 and tried to hold one end up but wickets fell at the other end due to disciplined bowling from Prime Bank.
Rupganj stumbled to 102/7 but wicketkeeper Jaker Ali scored 47 and took the team total to 163 before they were all out in 46.1 overs.
Mohor Sheikh, Al-Amin Hossain, Ariful Haque, Abdur Razzak and Alok Kapali all took two wickets each for Prime Bank.

In reply, Prime Bank formed a fantastic 125-run partnership with captain Anamul Haque and Rubel Mia before Rubel was dismissed for 44.
Anamul kept the runs flowing and ensured he stayed there till the end to score a century off 111 balls and guide his team home, without losing any more wickets.
The right-handed opener’s innings had 12 boundaries and two maximums and he was an easy pick for man-of-the-match.
