The iconic Bangla spy character Masud Rana is finally set to make his big-screen debut after decades of popularity in print.
Production houses Impress Telefilm and Jaaz Multimedia have officially released the first-look poster of the upcoming film adaptation Masud Rana ahead of its Eid-ul-Azha release.
Back in 2020, Jaaz Multimedia announced plans to produce two films based on the legendary spy character created by Kazi Anwar Hossain.
While MR-9: Do or Die, directed by Bangladesh-born Hollywood filmmaker Asif Akbar, was released in 2023, another project titled Masud Rana by director Saikat Nasir remained delayed for years.
Producer Abdul Aziz has now confirmed that the long-awaited film is finally scheduled for release during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha holiday season.
