Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan marked his 61st birthday on Monday with the release of “Tu Mil Jaaye”, the first song from his upcoming film “King”.
Released at midnight, the track features Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, with Arijit Singh providing the vocals and Ed Sheeran performing an English rap.
The music video features a mix of romantic scenes, dance sequences, and action shots. It opens with Shah Rukh introducing his character through the dialogue: “Main qaatil nahi, aashiq hoon, aur nishana meri mashooka, aur woh aashiq hi kya jo dil cheer na de.”
Shah Rukh and Deepika are seen together in several locations, including a beach and a cafe. The video also features Shah Rukh in action sequences and a shirtless appearance. He is seen lip-syncing to Ed Sheeran's rap, while the closing dialogue offers a glimpse of the darker side of his character.
The film's cast also includes Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, and Abhay Verma.
“King” is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
