The first-look poster of upcoming Bangladeshi film “Bonolota Sen” has been unveiled, with the film set for an Eid release.
Directed by Masud Hasan Ujjal, the film stars Masuma Rahman Nabila in the main role alongside Khairul Basar, Shohel Mondol, Priyontee Urbee, Rupanty Akid, Maimuna Mom, and Sharif Siraj.
Inspired by Jibanananda Das’ iconic poem “Banalata Sen," the film marks Ujjal’s second feature after “Unoponchash Batash."
Nabila said she was instantly drawn to the character after reading the full screenplay.
The film received certification board clearance on April 12 under the government grant scheme for 2021-22.
