Rock meets ritual, memory meets metal -- and Warfaze turns flame into legacy.

In a first for South Asia, the iconic Bangladeshi band has partnered with global lighter brand Zippo to launch exclusive collectible editions inspired by their music -- a rare crossover where sound becomes symbol.

The official unveiling began Monday, placing Warfaze at the centre of a cultural milestone.

“For us, music has always been about connecting with a generation’s emotions,” said frontman Sheikh Monirul Alam Tipu.

“To be associated with a brand like Zippo, that carries its own legacy, is an honour.”

Two special-edition lighters mark the moment -- one drawn from their debut album Warfaze, the other from Path Chala.

Designed as more than merchandise, they capture the band’s journey -- its beginnings, evolution, and stories etched over four decades.

Behind the collaboration is a bigger vision.

Distributor LuxCo Trading Ltd aims to build a collectible culture in Bangladesh -- a space where music, nostalgia and identity intersect.

And with Zippo’s global history of honouring legends like Elvis Presley, Bob Marley and Metallica, Warfaze now finds itself in formidable company.

Founded in 1984, Warfaze has long stood as a cornerstone of Bangladeshi rock, shaping generations with songs that carry rebellion, reflection and raw emotion.

Even as their 40-year legacy tour pauses, the band continues to evolve -- working on Pathchala 2 and a new album that promises fresh energy with familiar soul.

Because for Warfaze, the music never really stops.

Sometimes, it just burns differently.
