According to insider’s popstar Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom have reportedly broken up. On Wednesday, a source close to the pair have told Us weekly about the reported split, adding "Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable."
The couple first met in 2016 at a Golden Globes after party, but split in 2017. But they got back together in 2018 and got engaged in 2019 on Valentine’s Day. The pair were set to get married in 2022 following the birth of their daughter Daisy but the wedding had to be postponed due to the covid protocols.
Sources say with Perry’s latest album 143 not meeting expectations and essentially “flopping”, caused “tension” with Bloom. The source further explained "It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension,". Stating the breakup has left Perry upset yet relieved as she avoided another divorce. As previously Perry had explained her divorce with Russell Brand had left her at her lowest.
The lord of the rings star was seen with their daughter Daisy in Perth prior to the news.
