Mosharraf Karim’s 'Bildakini', based on Nuruddin Jahangir's novel of the same title, is coming to theatres on January 24.
The poster features popular West Bengal actress Parno Mittra alongside Mosharraf Karim, who plays the central character of the film. Parno made her debut on the big screen of Bangladesh through the film ‘No Bed of Roses’ directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.
Mosharraf Karim plays the role of Manik Majhi in ‘Bildakini'. He is the son of a Baul. On the other hand, Parno’s character is named Hanufa. The story of Bildakini revolves around the story of a rural woman Hanufa.
Director Fazlul Tuhin said, “This is a story of an impossible struggle for the freedom of a woman and her motherhood. People will see the form of traditional Bengal in this film, and at the same time, they will see the traditional sorrow of people where the inner pain of people is mixed with their confidence and inspiration of love.”
The film will be released in all cineplexes and some other halls of the country on January 24.
