Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy has various day-long programs and events to celebrate the Victory Day on December 16, 2024. The day's events will begin at 10 am with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Savar National Memorial.
In the interest of pluralistic and people-oriented political-cultural development and understanding in the new Bangladesh, an initiative has been taken to organize the exhibition “2024: Oi Notuner Keton Ore” as part of the month-long public awakening-focused programs in December 2024.
A cultural program has been organized at Nandan Mancha at 6 pm by the Music, Dance and Recitation Department of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy to honor the history of patriotism and independence. The program will be presided over by Dr. Syed Jamil Ahmed, Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Mehjabeen Rahman, Director of Music and Dance Recitation Department, will deliver the welcome speech.
The cultural program will begin with the performance of the instrumental music ‘Desh Gaan’ by the instrumentalists of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Fahal Hossain Antu will be the musical director. Then, ensemble songs and mash ups will be played, then there will ensemble dances by various dance groups. The solo song will be performed by Ferdous Ara
At 7 pm, Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, will inaugurate the month-long poster, painting, photography, video and cartoon exhibition ‘2024: Oi Notuner Keton Ore’ under the management of the Fine Arts Department of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at the National Art Gallery Auditorium.
