Parsha’s “Cholo bhule jai” was uploaded on social platform on the midnight of July 28. And we can all say that it has gone viral garnering over 56k views on YouTube and over 4.4million plays on Facebook.
The song manages to capture the essence of the current situation, with all the innocent lives lost, the curfew and the sense of chaos.
The young artist captures this desolate sadness in her song. Regarding this situation the artist says “When the agitation was at its height, I could not go down the street due to physical illness. But there is no opportunity to sit. I can't stay on the field, but I can do something else. So I wrote the song an hour before uploading it. I wrote what I thought. It took about 10 minutes to write. Then I set the tone and made a video at midnight. I managed to finish the video in four attempts. Uploaded after 2 am. Since then everyone has liked it.”
The song was shared by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, among other, who wrote: “This is a completely different generation! Proud to see the evolution of this generation! With respect and love.”
The songstress reacted to this by writing: “Whatever I wanted in this life, I got more than what I thought! Respect and love dear Mustafa Sarwar Farooqui. By clinging to these inspirations, I live, I move forward, then I don't want to go back”
Parsha has been singing since childhood and has already released many original songs on her YouTube channel. Her songs have also been featured in dramas.
