Asif Islam’s ‘Nirvana’ to compete in Moscow International Film Festival

“Nirvana” has been selected along with "21 Rubies" by Ciprian Megi (Romania),  "The Alien” by Ivan Sosnin (Russia), "The Forest King" by Goran Radovanovic (Serbia) and many more.

Asif Islam’s “Nirvana” has been nominated to represent Bangladesh in the forty-sixth Moscow International Film Festival.

“Nirvana” has been selected along with "21 Rubies" by Ciprian Megi (Romania),  "The Alien” by Ivan Sosnin (Russia), "The Forest King" by Goran Radovanovic (Serbia) and many more.

Asif Islam writes on his Facebook page “My film "Nirvana" has been selected for its world premiere at the prestigious Moscow International Film Festival! It has been an incredible journey of 2 years of hard work, dedication, and passion that has brought us to this moment. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the amazing cast and crew members who believed in me and supported me throughout this project. Your talent, dedication, and hard work have made this dream a reality. I couldn't have done it without you guys. Thank you all for being a part of this incredible journey.” Celebrating this achievement.

“Nirvana” is not the first Bangladeshi film to selected and Screened for the festival. Juboraj Shamim's "Adim" competed in the 44th edition and Nurul Alam Atique's "Peyarar Subash" was selected and screened at the 45th edition.

The festival will take place from April 19 to April 26 in Moscow, Asif Islam plans to join the festival April 19 and Actress Priyam Archi will join the festival from the UK.
