The absurd surrealistic play, penned by poet Mehrub Rahman, unfolded as a poignant exploration of loss and resilience, leaving the audience captivated.

Under the direction of Emamul Haque, the play seamlessly integrated a prelude by celebrated Bangladeshi novelist and playwright Masum Reza, adding depth to its narrative.

The story, revolving around the search for a missing pair of shoes, symbolized lost loved ones and shattered confidence. This premiere show was a tribute to Shaheed Col Mojibul Hoque and dedicated to the late theatre activist Ishrat Nishat.

The ensemble cast, including the playwright and director, delivered stellar performances that resonated deeply with the audience.

Mahmudul Islam Selim and Noyon Hafiz set the tone with an excellent prelude, preparing the audience for an emotional journey.

Aruna Haider, Mehrub Rahman, and Emamul Haque portrayed their characters with depth and emotion, drawing the audience into the heart of the story.

Sharmin Shormi, Abraj Wohab, and Md Ershad Jahan provided crucial support, conveying the right emotions and enhancing the audience’s experience.
