In a momentous appearance, Bangladeshi-origin comedian Usama Siddique showcased his comedic prowess on the highly acclaimed Late Show With Stephen Colbert, aired on CBS Monday night.

The telecast, reaching audiences worldwide, was at 10:35am on Tuesday (Bangladesh time).

Siddique, now based in New York, gained recognition as a quarter-finalist on America’s Got Talent (AGT) Season 15.

His comedic act is known for its energetic and intelligent exploration of personal life experiences, with a focus on family, friends, sex, and religion.

Siddique was born to Bangladeshi parents in Canada. But his frequent visits to Bangladesh held his ties to this country.

Despite initially facing resistance from his parents, who had hoped for a career in medicine, Siddique has carved out a successful path in stand-up comedy.

Siddique earned recognition as one of the New Faces at Just For Laughs in 2018, followed by being passed at the renowned Comedy Cellar in New York.

His stand-up television debut took place on BET’s 50 Central, and he has been featured on platforms like Showtime’s Desus and Mero, MTV’s News, and Bravo’s Cash Cab.

Siddique’s accolades include being a finalist for the 2017 NY’s Funniest Competition at Caroline’s, a finalist in the 2017 NBC Standup Competition, and the first-place winner of the 2016 Laughing Devil Cup Comedy Festival in New York.

He also clinched the top spot in the 2015 Yonkers Comedy Festival and the 2015 Make Me Laugh Albany Comedy Festival.

His performances have been featured on various media outlets, including NBC, Buzzfeed, Refinery29, The Scene, Mic.com, FusionTV, and Huffington Post.

During his Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1513 of America’s Got Talent, Siddique delivered a stand-up routine featuring humorous anecdotes about a friend’s vacation in Miami.

Despite his elimination in Episode 1514, he left a lasting impression on viewers with his distinctive comedic style.
