The “Cholo Bangladesh Concert” organized by Grameenphone ended recently with the participant of thousands music lovers. Starting with Pritam Hasan and Habib Wahid, more than 10 bands performed in the concert, including famous band Artcell and Warfaze.
The roar of the Tigers at ICC Cricket World Cup was visually echoed loudly by fans in concert to show the pride for the Bangladesh Cricket team and country. This thousands of music lovers gathered at Army Stadium to witness the melodiousness. At this time, honour were given to the Mars Rover team, freelancers and the gaming community.
Hasan, Rafa, Habib Wahid and Black Jang performed in the concert to bring the thrill of Bengali pop and hip hop in a new level. Also, there were live performances by Cryptic Fate and their tribute sessions with Artcell and Warfaze which displayed country’s metal music potential. Hip hop to metal, the concert had great performances by artists for music fans.
Prtom Hasan sang new songs for Grameenphone Prime, while Nemesis and Pantha Kanai mesmerized the audience with all their popular songs.
The Concert paid tribute to legend of Bangladesh; AyubBachchu. Performances featured renowned and popular artists to elevate the country's music spectrum to unique heights, leaving a deep impression in the heart of music fans.
“Cholo Bangladesh Concert” was organised as a part of Cholo Bangladesh Campaign, gave the youth of the country an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of country’s heroes and their own role in taking the country forward. The campaign also includes interesting activities like live streaming of World Cup matches.
The concert was hosted by model Azra Mahmood and musician Farshid Alam.
