On Thursday, the Dhallywood superstar filed a defamation case against Rahmat Ullah as well

Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan on Monday filed another case against producer Rahmat Ullah under Digital Security Act (DSA).

The actor filed the case in Dhaka Cyber Tribunal Judge AM Zulfikar Hayat's court. The court ordered the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to submit an investigation report on June 6 after taking the plaintiff's statement.

Earlier, the superstar filed a defamation case against producer Rahmat Ullah over extortion and threatening to murder last Thursday.

On March 15, Rahmat Ullah sent a complaint letter to the president of the Bangladesh Film Artistes' Association accusing Shakib Khan of giving misleading assurance along with unprofessional and unethical behaviour and neglect towards the film that he had promised to shoot.

The Dhallywood superstar was also accused of raping a co-producer in a hotel room and also gravely physically injuring the said victim.

The letter further noted that Shakib Khan was detained in Australia for the aforementioned rape case when he returned there in 2018. But as the victim did not come forward, no further action was taken by Australian law enforcement.

Rahmat Ullah claims to be the producer of the Shakib Khan-starring 2017 movie “Operation Agneepath,” but the actor says the main producer was Jane Alam, which is mentioned in the film contract as well.
