Actress Shobnom Bubly has announced the birth of her daughter, ending months of speculation surrounding her personal life.
In a Facebook post published on Friday afternoon, Bubly said she became the mother of a baby girl, tagging actor Shakib Khan in the post.
She stated that the child was born on May 11 and has been named Sharlin Khan. In her post, Bubly wrote: “Alhamdulillah, by the immense mercy of Almighty Allah, a baby girl has arrived in our family. In this moment of joy, I express my heartfelt gratitude to those who prayed for us and sent good wishes. I seek everyone’s prayers for our daughter.”
Bubly had remained largely absent from film shoots and public appearances over recent months, during which rumors circulated about her becoming a mother. She had not publicly addressed the speculation until Friday’s announcement.
Her post drew significant engagement on social media, receiving more than 18,000 reactions within 30 minutes, alongside over 3,000 comments and more than 400 shares, with fans and well-wishers offering congratulations.
The actress also referenced the birth of her son, Shehzad Khan Bir, who was born on March 21, 2020, at a hospital in the United States to Bubly and Shakib Khan. The couple kept the news private for nearly two years before revealing it publicly in 2022.
