Every year Bangladesh National Film Awards comes up with a grand ceremony to honor the awardees. This year the ceremony is going to be held today at Bangabandhu International Conference Center. Just like always, the award giving program is going to be enhanced by the presence of numerous celebrities.
As a chief guest, Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been invited to hand over the awards to the winners. As special guests there will be Hasanul Haque Inu MP and the Ministry of Information Dr. Hasan Mahmud. The ceremony will be moderated by actor Ferdous Ahmed and Nusrat Faria. Celebrities that will be performing on the stage are Apu Biswas, Nipun, Tarin, Bappi Chowdhury, Zayed Khan, Imon, Nirob, Dighi, Achol, Puja Cherry, Oishi, Toma Mirza and many more.
Other than this, various songs will be performed by Partho Barua, Akhi Alamgir, Imran, Konal, Liza, Nandita and Nishita Barua.
34 awards will be given from 27 categories in this ceremony. Special honor will be given to Ilias Kanchan and Dolly Jahur.
