Popular Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in a panel discussion at the Red Sea International Film Festival disclosed details about his upcoming project. The actor confirmed that his new film, which is set to release on April 2023, will be based on the importance of sex education.
Akshay Kumar is a versatile actor who prioritizes the films that generate social awareness. Previously he has starred in films like “Toilet” and “Padman,” that emphasize different social issues.
“It is a very important subject. In a lot of places, it is not there… sex education is one topic I would like all schools in the world to have,” said Akshay Kumar according to Deadline. “It's going to take time to release. It's one of the best films I've ever made.”
The Bollywood actor has a long list of films including “Selfie” and “OMG 2” lined up to release next year.
Aside from Akshay Kumar, other Bollywood stars like Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Priayanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor attended the film festival in Jeddah. The Red Sea International Film Festival will continue till December 10.
