“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is coming to Star Cineplex on May 6 to spice up your Eid holidays. The 2022 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Doctor Strange stars Benedict Cumberbatch.
Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the sequel to “Doctor Strange” (2016). Directed by Sam Raimi, and written by Michael Waldron, it is the 28th installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The story follows Dr Stephen Strange, as he casts a forbidden spell that opens the doorway to the multiverse, including alternate versions of himself, whose threat to humanity is too great for the combined forces of Strange, Wong, and Wanda Maximoff.
The film also stars ide Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness premiered in Hollywood on May 2, 2022, and will be released in the United States on May 6.
