BTV will release three special episodes of popular children’s show “Sisimpur” to mark the auspicious occasion of Eid. The three special episodes, titled together as “Milemishe Sobe, Mati Utsobe,” will be aired on state owned Bangladesh Television (BTV).
The half-hour episodes will be telecast at 1:00 pm on the three consecutive days from Eid day.
The special Sisimpur episodes were designed to educate young children important lessons regarding festivity, diversity, and harmony. Halum, Ikri and Bahadur, the popular characters of Sisimpur, will appear with some other special characters.
In addition, a celebrity representing the third gender community and a child with disability will also take part in two episodes of the Eid specials, in a bid to champion inclusion and diversity.
