Acclaimed Bangladeshi actor Jaya Ahsan is playing a key role in Iranian director Morteza Atashzamzam’s upcoming film "Fereshta."
On Sunday, a press briefing was arranged, where Jaya and her co-stars discussed making the film.
Jaya looked dazzling in a golden saree with matching earrings and bangles.
The shooting started in early April. Scenes were filmed at New Market, Jamuna Future Park, and Bashundhara.
A few photos from the film's set, featuring Jaya with Reekita Nondine Shimu in Bashundhara, went viral on social media.
The film is being produced under the working title of "CNG." The director and his team acquired permission from Bangladesh’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on March 13.
The film also stars Bairam Fazli, Mokhtari, Mobarekh, Atiya Pirali, and Kavas in key roles.
Jaya has recently bagged the Best Actress award at Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2021 for her performance in Atanu Ghosh’s critically acclaimed film ‘Binisutoy’.
