It was Fahmida Nabi’s dream to do something special for the music industry. She started her very own initiative, voice grooming and training centre named Karigori back in 2007. After 10 years, her students are ready to take the industry by storm with their groomed voices. On the occasion of Eid, a new album is going to be released with the voices of the students of Karigori. This album is already completed under the supervision of Fahmida Nabi herself. there are 12 songs, which Fahmida and her 11 students have sung for the album. Sajib Das arranged music for 10 songs of the album titled as Karigori-1.
The songs will be released digitally also under the banner Anmol, which is also one of the initiatives of Fahmida Nabi.
Nabi is very excited about the album. She said, “Karigori is a non profit initiative which is trying to groom future voices for the music industry of Bangladesh. There are so many voices we have tested through the organisation in the past 10 years. Now we are presenting 11 voices to the audience, which we think will blow your mind.”
