Popular singer Fahmida Nabi composed a new song, titled Ma. The specialty of this song is that it celebrates motherhood and is dedicated to all the mothers in the world.
Fahmida Nabi composed the song as well, while it is written by Manjurul Alam Chowdhury and tuned by Fahmida’s brother Pancham Nabi.
The song was recorded at Gaanshala Studio on August 17. A music video of the song will be released soon on Fahmida’s official YouTube channel. Barna Chakraborty directed the video.
On Tuesday the singer posted a video on her Facebook profile, where she talks about the song.
In the video she said: “The word Ma (mother) is a small word but is very deep; we can’t measure its magnitude. This song has many stories, everybody can relate to this song. Those who have their mothers with them, I want to request them to take care of their mothers, as we know the pain of those who have lost their mothers.”
The lyricist and music video directors were also seen in the video, and shared their experiences of making the song and video respectively.
Manjurul Alam said: “Ten years after writing the song, I gave this song to Fahmida apa and she made the song a beautiful one with her soothing melodious voice.”
