Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande – popular onscreen couple from Ekta Kapoor’s Pavitra Rishta - were also real-life lovers. The couple dated for six years and split in 2016.
Ankita has recently shared a video of the late actor Sushant in a flight simulator with a caption that read: “Dream. Is this claustrophobia? You always wanted to fly and you did it.”
Ankita’s recent post apparently contradicts Rhea Chakraborty’s claims. The latter was Sushant’s girlfriend at the time of his death.
In her first public interview, Rhea argued that Sushant took medicine because he felt claustrophobic on flights, and vehemently denied having hooked the late actor on drugs contrary to recent media reports.
Notably, in September 2019, Sushant shared a list of his 50 dreams with his fans and followers, which also included learning how to fly a plane.

Rhea Chakraborti has been seen pleading the Mumbai Police to provide protection for her family. Due to increasing media attention, the actor and her family have been dragged under the limelight and vilified across the board.
On Instagram, she shared a video of her father being harassed by press and wrote: “This is inside my building compound. The man in this video is my father Indrajit Chakraborty (retd. army officer). We have been trying to get out of our house to cooperate with ED, CBI and various investigation authorities to cooperate.
“There is a threat to my life and my family’s life. We have informed the local police station and even gone there, no help provided. We have informed the investigation authorities to help us get to them, no help arrived. How is this family going to live? We are only asking for assistance, to cooperate with the various agencies that have asked us. I request the Mumbai Police to please provide protection so that we can cooperate with these investigation agencies. In Covid times, these basic law and order restrictions need to be provided,” she added.
According to Rhea, her building’s watchman, who has been working there for the last ten years, was also beaten by the media.
She wrote, “Ram is my buildings watchman for the last 10 years, He is hurt, he was hit. Media people have entered my building compound and hurt the security guards and my father. Is this not a crime? Who is responsible for this? Is there any law at all? Are we barbarians? Will the concerned authorities kindly take notice, there are children and elders living in this building too. Or is this the system we live in?”
Meanwhile, another friend of Sushant Singh Rajput has recently pinned the blame on Rhea Chakraborty for the death of the actor.
Sushant's gym partner Sunil Shukla made startling allegations that the conspiracy to murder him was done by “two daddies” - Rhea’s biological father Indrajit Chakraborty and her “sugar daddy” Mahesh Bhatt, reported Times of India.
The 34-year-old actor Sushant was found hanging at his Mumbai residence on June 14.
At the time, Police officials confirmed there was no suicide note. Sushant was suffering from depression for the last six months and also undergoing treatment at the Hinduja Hospital.
