Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) is observing the 45th death anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by arranging a month long virtual event titled Shotabdir Mohanayak.
The event was inaugurated on August 2. BSA Director General Liaquat Ali Lucky presided over the ceremony and State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid attended as the chief guest.
The inauguration ceremony featured cultural programs and discussion sessions revolving around Bangabandhu’s life and philosophy.
In recent months, BSA has been building a socio-cultural movement 'Art against Corona' to stand by artistes and educate the public about the ongoing pandemic.
