An FIR has been registered against actor Rhea Chakraborty under various sections, including abetment of suicide, on the complaint of Sushant Singh Rajput's father, according to news agency ANI.
KK Singh, father of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, lodged the FIR at Rajiv Nagar Police Thana in Patna. He claims that Rhea is responsible for instigating his son’s suicide.
Initially, after Sushant's suicide, cops reached out to Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput’s close friends. Actor Rhea Chakraborty was interrogated by the Mumbai Police as well.
According to Times of India, Rhea confirmed during the interrogation that she had been living with Rajput. The couple had been looking to jointly invest in property after getting married. Rhea’s phone was thoroughly scanned by the police, including the pictures and videos of the couple and the texts exchanged. She said that she had left the Carter Road penthouse the couple shared after getting into a fight, but they had kept in touch.
Other sources added that Rhea also happened to be the last person Rajput called before going to sleep every day.
