Final preparations are being taken to celebrate the centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's birth. As part of the National Implementation Committee's initiative, a theatrical choreography titled 'The Great Hero of the Century' will be staged during the inauguration ceremony tomorrow.
For more than two months, a thousand artists have been rehearsing under the supervision of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy to stage the theatrical choreography.
Bangabandhu's transformation from a mere political activist into the Father of Nation, his long imprisonment and his endless sacrifices for his people will be depicted in the ceremony.
The celebration will also include hundreds of child artists who will sing the national anthem as well as the song Dhonyo Mujib Dhonyo.
