Deepto TV, a popular Bangladeshi private television channel, celebrated its 4th anniversary on Monday.
The celebration took place at its Karwan Bazar headquarters in the presence of well-wishers, friends from the media, journalists, and celebrities.
On their social media sites, the channel thanked its partners, vendors, and patrons for their consistent support since the beginning.
The CEO of Deepto TV, Fuad Chowdhury said at the event: "We are trying to bring back the audience that we lost to Indian TV channels. We hope to bring newer attractions in the coming years." Actor Nima Rahman said: "Deepto has created a new Gharana of TV shows. Our expectations are sky high from this exceptional TV channel."
The celebrations began from 3pm, and the festivities continued till 7pm. Students of BAFA presented a group dance with the song Alo Amar Alo, followed by a chorus. Swapnil, Saib, Tanzina, Toma, Yasmin, among others, were the performers for this song.
Artistes of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy presented an acrobat dance show. Deepto's news presenters and reporters made the audience laugh with their comedy news show. There were also dance numbers and renditions of folk songs.
Voice artistes of the channel's widely popular Sultan Suleiman, the Turkish historical fiction television series, presented a drama.
Oishi presented solo songs, while Imtu Ratish hosted the celebration, which was telecast live on the channel and its Facebook page.
Deepto TV went on- air on November 18 in 2015. Since then, the channel has been working hard to make quality programs for its viewers. As a part of that attempt, the channel will air an animated film, Tomorrow on November 23.
