Films 4 Peace Foundation will organize a film screening event and award-giving ceremony today at the National Art Gallery Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
The program will begin at 6:30pm, according to a press release from the organizers.
A total of five short films will premiere at the event. The films were the outcome of a film-making workshop themed “Stories of peace and harmony through camera.”
The workshop, which was held in January, had seen participation of 25 students from 10 different universities. They were trained by top industry professionals.
The Education Ministry’s Additional Secretary Javed Ahmed, rights activist and reserved seat MP Aroma Dutta, and Prof Dr Dalem Chandra Barman will attend today’s program as special guests.
