Amy Jackson has completed shooting for director Shankar’s upcoming magnum opus 2.0.
Shankar had shot a massive stunt sequence featuring Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson, says a source close to the team. 2.0 also has Akshay Kumar in a prominent role. AR Rahman is composing music for the film. Lyca, producers of 2.0 have already announced that the film will be hitting screens this Diwali.
Rajinikanth will return as Chitti in this movie. Then there’s Amy Jackson, whose exact role in the film remains a mystery. As per the latest reports, Amy Jackson has finally finished filming her scenes for 2.0. It is going to be a high octane action film for which a grand set was erected in Chennai. “I have shot for 2.0 for 70 days in the last year and a half with Rajini Sir. It has been an emotional journey. But now, it’s going to be a lot of aerial work and action for my final sequence,” says the actress while speaking with a leading news portal two weeks ago. While it’s a wrap for Amy, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar will continue shooting for 2.0.
