Rabi Raag, a renowned cultural organization devoted to Rabindra sangeet, recently organized a
Rabindra soiree titled “Shorotkalin Srotar Ashor.” The event sponsored by Meena Bazar took
place at capital’s Chhayanaut Auditorium on September 21.
Famous Bangladeshi Rabindra Sangeet singer and director of the cultural organization, Sadi
Mohammad coordinated and performed at the event. Members of the 33-year-old organization
embraced Autumn through a number of famous Rabindra sangeet.
At the end of the event, Sadi Mohammad told the audience: “Our Rabindra organization is
currently 33 years old and we organize such programs once in two months. I always believed
that people will learn to sing well by singing along good songs and that is the goal of our
organization and its events of this sort.”
“I was here today on the harmonium to encourage the members of Rabi Raag who performed
today. Hopefully I will sing in the next program and I will sing all by myself. I also hope the
audience in front of me liked our performance and will join us again in an upcoming event like
this one,” he added.
