Cultural organization Jaltaranga completed ten years of its responsible work and entered its eleventh year.
On this occasion, the organization organized a wonderful program consists of song and poetry at the Chhayanaut Auditorium, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
The program started at 7pm on Friday.
At the beginning, special guest Emeritus Professor Serajul Islam Choudhury delivered a very important speech. The audience listened to his 20-minute speech in pin-drop silence.
He said: “Culture is bigger than education, bigger than civilization, culture is the backbone of the nation.”

Then special guests, two child artists, sarengi players Yusuf Ahmed and Mahima Mehzabin, came on stage. These two artists fascinated everyone with their sarengi playing.
Then the main program titled "Bhalo Theko Phool" began.
The event began with the patriotic song "O Amar Swapnojhora Akul Kara Janmabhoomi" sung in chorus.
Everyone in the gallery was impressed. It was as if deep patriotism was swaying among everyone.
One by one, including Sundar subarna tarunya, O amar bangla maa tor, Jonmo amar dhonno holo, Abar asibo fire, Ektara lagena amar, Ajker shishu, 20 songs were performed, not a bit of impatience or annoyance was noticed among the audience.
Rather, everyone was singing the songs of life at the top of their voices.

Finally, the national anthem was performed.
It started with Gagan Harkara's original song Aami Kothay Pabo Taare.
While singing the national anthem, two members of Jaltaranga stood in front of the artists holding a large national flag, which created an extraordinary feeling in the minds of everyone present.
The script of the entire program, song/poem selection, timeliness, presentation, invitation letter, souvenir was commendable. A quality cultural movement can permanently prevent the chaos and excessive incidents of despair that are prevailing in society nowadays.
The program directed and coordinated by Zakir Hossain Tapan and Tanvira Ashraf Shyama.
