Ekushey Padak winning Nazrul sangeet singer and researcher Khalid Hossain is severely ill due to lung and heart issues. He is currently admitted to the capital’s Labaid hospital. According to recent reports, his physical condition has improved. He has been transferred to a cabin from the ICU. He is currently under the supervision of chest specialist Ali Hossain.
Born on December 4, 1940, Khalid Hossain has been a Nazrul sangeet teacher in Bangladesh for more than five decades. He is an authority on the topic and is a trainer at National University, Dhaka University, Rajshahi University, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul University and other institutes around the country.
