Films released this Pohela Boishakh

Two films, “Ekti Cinemar Gaulpo” and “Hridoy Chowa Kotha” were supposed to be released this Pohela Boishakh, but only the latter was released on April 13. “Ekti Cinemar Gaulpo,” which is being released in over 40 theatres nationwide in July, is directed by renowned actor Alamgir and produced by Icon Entertainment. The film stars Alamgir, Arifin Shuvoo, and India’s Rituparna Sengupta. Syed Hasan Imam, Champa, Saberi Alam, and Sadek Bacchu star in other roles in the film. Superhero film “Bizli” will also get its nationwide release in over 80 theatres this week, although technically it is not a new film as it had already been released in Janata Cinema Hall in Nilphamari last week. The film, directed by Iftakar Chowdhury, also stars actors like Zahid Hasan, Misha Shawdagar, Anisur Rahman Milon, Dilara Zaman, Tiger Robi, and many others in various roles. The other two previously released films which will run on the first week of Boishakh are Rohan and Porimoni starrer “Swapnajaal,” and Bappi and Mahi starrer, “Poloke Poloke.”
