“Sultan,” the India-Bangladesh joint venture film’s shoot had started in Kolkata from last week. The film is helmed by Indian film director Raja Chanda. Recent reports say that Bangladeshi actor Taskeen Rahman will be seen as the villain of the film against the film’s lead Indian actor Jeet.
Jaaz Multimedia, the Bangladeshi co-production company of the project recently told the press about Taskeen’s signing.
Taskeen, who is currently in Australia, had also told the press recently about signing the film. He said that he talked to Aziz of Jaaz Multimedia about the film a few weeks back and liked the script and his character. After he got to know the details, he confirmed to work on the project a few days back.
The “Dhaka Attack” villain also added that he is supposed to start shooting in Kolkata from March 7 and work 13 days straight.
The film also stars Bangladeshi actors- Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, Shahidul Alam Shacchu, Aman Reza and India’s Priyanka Sarkar and more.
The film is a joint venture co-production between Bangladesh’s Jaaz Multimedia and India’s Jeet Filmworks and Surindar Films.
