Fahmida launches new album featuring Lucky Akhand’s songs

Famous singer Fahmida Nabi launched a new album titled “Bhul Kore Bhalobeshechi” on Saturday. The album features some of the memorable tracks of the legendary singer and composer Lucky Akhand, including a new song titled “Bishonnota.” A launching ceremony was hosted on the same day by the  production company of the album, Bengal Foundation. On the new track, Fahmida recently told the press that it was recorded on last year’s July commemorating the late Lucky Akhand. She also said that Lucky Akhand composed the track back in 2005-2006 when he was healthy. She also added that she decided to keep “Bishonnota” when working on the new album. The album consists of eight tracks penned by Golam Morshed and composed by Lucky Akhand. Kolkata’s Ashu Chakrabarty did the musical arrangements of the album. Songs of the album were composed by Lucky Akhand, Nipu, Sajeeb Dash and Fahmida Nabi herself.
