Last episode of popular television drama “Oli,” directed by Rakesh Basu, will be telecast on Deepto TV on Thursday at 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
The drama series, written by Ahmed Khan Hirok and Junayed Hossain, features a story about a nine year old orphan named Oli and his struggle to survive. Oli, struggling with the inhumane conditions of the orphanage he lived in, ran way and came to Dhaka. He got himself involved in the pick-pocket gang after reaching the capital. The series revolves around the experiences of Oli and how his fight for survival.
Director Rakesh Basu said in a statement: “working on this project was a unique experience for me. The screenplay of this drama is an adaptation of a classic novel so the task was very challenging. But the drama received its popularity for the casts' active involvement. I am forever grateful to Deepto TV for giving me this opportunity.”
The series has a star studded cast lineup including Shanto as Oli, Dolly Johur, SF Naeem, Sanjida Prity, Azizul Hakim, Intekhab Dinar, Mousumi Hamid, Romana Shorna, Naresh Bhuiyan, Shatabdi Wadud, Lutfar Rahman George, Adnan Faruk Hillol, Sanjida Mila, Masud Mohiuddin, Raisul Islam Asad, Shilpy Sarker Apu, Shamima Naznin, Kazi Ujjal and more.
