A total of three AC compartments of the inter-city train Parabat Express have been completely charred following a deadly fire that broke out at the power car or restaurant car of the moving train.
Four firefighting units managed to douse the flames after an hour and a half-long effort on Saturday.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported as the authorities concerned managed to stop the train in time.
Two probe bodies have been formed to investigate the fire incident.
